Warner Music is looking for a Senior Royalty Manager. The royalty department is responsible for the administration of three labels: Warner Benelux, Spinnin’ Records, and Cloud 9.

While Warner Benelux and Cloud 9 work with artists such as Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Roxy Dekker, Samuel Welten, Ayliva, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Snelle, CHO, and Antoon, Spinnin’ Records is one of the leading dance music labels in the world. Spinnin’ represents top talent including Tiësto, CYRIL, LUM!X, KSHMR, Sam Feldt, Alok, and Lucas & Steve.

Job requirements

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

As our intern Royalty our goal is to train you on all aspects of the department. You are working on income statements. This means that you create an overview of all released and licensed tracks and checking the relevant statements. You support the Royalty department with the registration and translation from contracts into a royalty model and help the team with all other duties if needed. You enjoy working with numbers and to do analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You will be responsible for the sales processing in our Royalty System.

  • You will set up reporting and analytics for the sales and revenue that we process.

  • You will be in close contact with the artists and managers, assisting them with any questions about their royalty statements.

  • You will manage our royalty artist portal, ensuring that our artists have access to their Royalty Statements.

  • You will set up accounts in the Royalty System based on the artist/label agreements that we receive from our Legal Department.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are fulltime available for a minimum internship of 5 months;

  • You are currently following a (Dutch) legal/financial MBO/HBO education;

  • You have an excellent knowledge of Dutch and/of English language;

  • You are organized and enjoy working with numbers;

  • Pro-active, self-motivated and highly organized with a “can-do” mentality and ability to work independently;

  • You have great communication & interpersonal skills;
