Warner Chappell Music (WCM) is seeking an ambitious and value-driven General Manager (GM) to lead its Benelux operations in Amsterdam. Reporting directly to the President of Warner Music Central Europe & Warner Chappell Music Benelux, the GM will drive the P&L and strategically grow WCM NL's market share, all while championing our cultural values: Curiosity, Collaboration, and Commitment.

This role requires a leader who is operationally savvy yet possesses a strong creative lens to drive the core business. The GM will work to ensure that our deep administrative expertise and creative efforts work in concert to maximize opportunities for our songwriters.

What You’ll Do

As a Finance Working Student, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day financial

health of our catalog. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Daily Finance Operations: Assist the team with day-to-day accounting tasks, tracking accounts payable (AP), and monitoring accounts receivable (AR).

  • Invoice Management: Raise, organize, and process invoices accurately and efficiently.

  • Data Entry & Compliance: Update vendor master data, perform regular data compliance checks, and assist in preparing essential documentation for month-end closings.

  • Accounts Payable Support: Handle system data entry, verify the accuracy of vendor documents, and track the approval workflow using our global management systems (FIT system).

  • Royalty Support: Assist the team during critical royalty payment runs to ensure our songwriters and publishers are paid accurately and on time.

  • Basic Analytical Support: Extract standard financial reports from our management software and load data into Excel spreadsheets for analysis.

What You Bring to the Team

Current Student: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, preferably in

Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Tech & Numbers Savvy: Solid foundational knowledge of MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, basic formulas) and a sharp eye for detail.

Organized & Reliable: A structured way of working, with the ability to handle confidential financial data responsibly.

Great Communicator: Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Music Enthusiast: A genuine interest in the music industry and the mechanics of

music publishing.
